I saw a bumper sticker on a car the other day:

"If you can read this thank a teacher.
Since it's English thank a soldier."

As weird as Michael Jackson was, you can't deny how incredibly talented he was. Great performer, great music, great dancer. It's weird to think that one of my (gen xer) icons has passed away. He WAS the 80's. And he was soooo cute -- pre- '90's anyway.
